Paula Frost's Insight on new Video
This is something I’ve been sitting on for a very long time now! I first recorded the vocals to this classic Bob Dylan song back at university when I was a drummer studying for a music degree and trying lots of different musical ventures. I am accompanied by my close friend Joel Stoner who plays guitar and produces the track. For many years the song remained unreleased, and was all but forgotten until lockdown. I relistened to the cover and decided to move forward with it, enlisting the musical assistance of Glenn Blankenhorn, a talented Ohio musician who recently became my father in law. He laid down some slide guitar on the track and it really came to life (sonding better than any harmonica!).
Next I got to work on the music video, blending footage and colour tones and recording my vocal performance. I even had my hair dyed pink for a couple of days!
I’m very happy with the final video and overall sound of the track and I’m so pleased to have worked alongside two fantastic musicians and close friends. I can’t wait for you to hear it!
